Pickler born Kellie Dawn Pickler in June of 1986. She had a troubled childhood. The mother she had left at the age of two years old to avoid the abuse of her partner. Pickler was brought back to her mother when she took over custody. This did not go well. Pickler, then 12, was sent back to her parents through the Court. They took care of her till she was old enough to be an adult. Pickler was too occupied with motherhood in the absence of both her parents. She admitted she no longer had time to study and started learning how to become a housekeeper as a child. Pickler was on her middle school as well as high school's cheerleading squad. She graduated in 2004 from North Stanly High School. Pickler was also a contestant in a beauty pageant. In the past, she was named Miss Stanly County.
