Dwayne serves as the Lead Pastor of Wellspring Church Charlotte NC, which was founded by him in 2007. He is a board member of the Acts 29 Network and he is the Director for Pastoral Care for the network. Dwayne is driven to train future generations of Biblical counselors. He serves on the Board of Directors for the Biblical Counseling Coalition. He is an author of numerous online publications, and also a contributor in Christ-Centered biblical counseling: Changing lives with God's eternal truth (eds. Kelleman as well as Viars). Dwayne and his wife Leslie have three kids.
